Sharing your images
Images can be shared when viewing the image in ThingLink. Select share on the right side of the screen and a box that looks like the one to the left will appear on top of the image being viewed.
SOCIAL MEDIA: Images are shareable through a number of social media sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Google Plus. Select the box that corresponds to the desired sharing media venue and follow the directions to connect the account and share the image and its content. The image can also be sent via email by selecting the envelope icon.
DIRECT LINK: ThingLink also provides a direct link to copy and paste. This can be used in via an email, chat window, etc.
EMBED: An embed code is also available. This feature supports open network learning environment approaches to instruction. It can be embed into a class website, blog or any other application that allows the embed codes and tags. Unfortunately, Google Sites does not allow all of the tags. When used on a google site, the touch points are note active. Other site building tools (Weebly, for example) support the embed code structure.

Privacy settings
STEP THREE:
A settings box will appear. ThingLink allows you to change two privacy settings. The first is the "image visibility." In a drop-down menu, you can select between "Public" and "Unlisted." The second setting prompts you to check a box to allow anyone to edit your image. If you want a student or another teacher to be able to edit and add content to the image, you need to select this box. Something to consider is that this allows any registered ThingLink user to edit the image. Unfortunately, ThingLink does not provide any more control over access to editing.
